In major cities, studies have shown that the air quality outdoors is cleaner than the quality of air inside our homes. House plants provide a fresh touch to functional decorating. Some well placed greenery can not only brighten a space but also purify the air.
In metropolitan cities where space is at a premium, private outdoor space comes with a steep price tag, one that most people are not capable of paying. A good way to overcome this paucity of green space is to make use of balconies and terraces in a creative way.
We all have corners in houses which are always left unused and can be a tricky place to decorate and use. The challenge lies in making the corner spaces functional yet pleasing to eyes. Often these spaces are neglected for want of ideas.
